The New Milford Historical Society is once again a participating location for Orb Scavenger Hunt!

The Merwinsville Hotel has kicked off the 2024 Glass Orb Scavenger Hunt originally launched in 2021 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Restoration.

This year, there are 100 glass orbs hidden among 25 area historic sites and organizations.

Participants can search for and keep any glass orb that they find (either inside or outside depending on the site). Be sure to register your orb and upload a photo on the Merwinsville Hotel website. You can also share your find on social media. When you register your orb, you immediately win a free family membership to the Merwinsville Hotel Restoration which gives you discounts to our events for the year. A win-win!
