May 10, 1757 - Mary Robburds grants freedom to servant Dan requiring an annual payment of 3 pounds 2 shillings until her demise.

August 23, 1773 - Partridge Thatcher grants servant Sibyl freedom upon her marriage to freeman Amos Lewis.

September 19, 1780 - Captain Sherman Boardman emancipated his slave Nehemiah.

December 30, 1780 - Partridge Thatcher declares: "Heber, and Peleg (on his 25th birthday December 4, 1782) Jacob Gratis' sons "shall be forever free."

March 30, 1781 - Partridge Thatcher gives freedom to Jacob and Dinah Gratis.

October 9, 1781 -  John Treat grants liberation to his "negroman" named Mingo.

1784 - Slavery abolished in Connecticut.
